Arlington played host to a relaxing TMOM Convention with a fun, sporty theme.

Cary stole the show with her bowling-pin sunglasses.

It’s back to the daily grind for the five fortunate AAMOM members who attended the 2009 Texas Mothers of Multiples Convention April 30-May 3 in Arlington. Shelli, Marcia, Kentra, Cary and Jody rekindled old friendships, made new acquaintances and learned lots of great things about being moms of multiples.

We’re excited to share our adventures with you at the May 7 AAMOM meeting at 7 p.m.

Highlights of the 2009 TMOM Convention:

  • Cary squeezing her way out of a speeding ticket
  • The real reason our husbands snore
  • Shelli’s My Brother’s Keeper presentation
  • The Hospitality Suite - the food just kept on coming!
  • Cute tour guides
  • Door prizes
  • New shoes
  • The most-awesome beds in the universe
  • The best bowling shirts ever
  • First-place awards in Nametag, Scrapbook and Newsletter (small club division)
  • Our superfabulous roadtrip companions, Samantha and Donald. We couldn’t have made it without you!

And, best of all:

  • Congrats to Jason Jones for winning a TMOM $1,000 scholarship on the same day he found a dollar!
  • Congrats to Kentra for winning her own raffle gift!
  • Congrats, also, to Kentra for winning a free trip to Convention next year! Lucky duck!

On behalf of all five of us, we sincerely hope everyone from AAMOM can join us next year for this fun, relaxing getaway! Next year’s TMOM Convention is in Garland, so start saving up and join the excitement!
