Family Friendly Event at the Park

2 Apr 2009Here’s a great event for the whole family!
On Saturday, April 4, the Junior League of Amarillo offers Best of Texas “Playtime” - a free, family Touch-A-Truck event. The event will be 11 a.m. - 2 p.m. at the John Stiff Memorial Park, located at SW 48th and Bell St.
It’s a FREE, family-oriented, hands-on event for the community. There will be trucks, vehicles and safety equipment for your children to learn about and explore such as a fire truck and ambulance.
At the AQHA booth, we will have a registered American Quarter Horse and much more! Children can complete a Junior Master Horseman activity; touch saddles, brushes, bits and a variety of other equine equipment; and spend some time with Two Bits. There will be educational, fun, hands-on activities for your kids to enjoy!
