AAMOM President Terri Huseman and her girls.

AAMOM President Terri Huseman and her girls.

It’s hard to believe my time serving as the president is coming to an end.

So much has happened to our club and to my own family over the past two years that it’s hard comprehend how time really does fly. I want to thank you all for allowing me to walk with you as your leader and friend. My “twin friends” are the first I look to when I need a boost as a wife and as a mother. The friendships I continue to develop are like no others.

You know exactly what I experience with my girls on a regular basis and can laugh, cry and grow with me. We have members who have been a support system for many years, and we have members who are just getting their feet wet.

I encourage you to stay active and/or get involved. Membership doesn’t require a lot of extra time or energy. It does require that you have an active part in deciding an implementing support for other MOMs who are walking the same or similar path.

I’d like to thank all who have taken an active role by either being on the board, coming to the monthly meetings, participating in family activities and supporting each other as we continue to take part in the most awesome of responsibilities — motherhood.

I’m looking forward to serving you in a different capacity this coming year and hope I can continue to build knowledge, compassion and friendship with a wonderful group of women.

Please join us April 7 for our next AAMOM meeting. Read the April newsletter to see what we have in store.

Terri Huseman
